4 Post lifts are ideal for marinas with shared docks, finger piers, fixed docks and single family dwelling docks. Cradle travel can be adjusted upon request for high tide change. We have 4 post lifts for up to 20,000 pounds. We also have 6 & 8 post lifts as well up to 40,000 pounds. We can increase speed on all of our lifts, however the heavier the boat the slower it will be.
We use Aluminum bunks to eliminate any buoyancy. Buoyancy is very common with wooden bunks, this causes the cradle to float which takes tension off of the cables and causes them to overlap each other while winding up. This ultimately leads to cable failure. We use grooved cable winders to help maintain the cables. We also use Aluminum and Stainless Steel backing plates which helps avoid rusting that could lead to stains on your boat.
We also have tide-tamers for areas with strong currents. This upgrade feature is to keep your cradle from drifting away while loading and unloading your boat in strong current areas.
